The first article that I found was titled, "Facebook: The New Classroom Commons?". It basically just talks about the boundaries between students and teachers. It discusses the relationships and if it is appropriate to have their students on their facebook, email, and text. Since we depend so much on technology these days, we really need at least one of these avenues and the most common one today is email. A lot of the time teachers do not have their students on facebook until after they graduate just so that they are sure they are not seeing anything that they should not be seeing. 

The next article that I found was titled, "Facebook vs. Twitter: Battle of the Social Network Stars." This article talks about the competition between facebook and twitter. Some libraries use either twitter or facebook or neither. It basically just talks about people who are researching which social network outlet is more suited for the library atmosphere.

Field Experience

I have been observing at Perrine Elementary in a kinder garden classroom for about a week now and I love it. It is the overflow classroom so there are 27 students instead of the average 18. The teacher I am working with is really great, she has been teaching for seven years and all seven of them have been in kinder garden. That is the grade that I want to teach. They are just learning how to be somewhat independent but they still need you for certain things. I really enjoy working with them. They range from age 4-5 and get really excited when I go in. I have just started and I need to do 55 hours for all my classes so I go Tuesday and Thursday for an hour and Friday all day.
